10/1/2023 | 3 minute read
As of October 1st, 2023, Oma’s Pride is excited to announce a shipping relaunch to the West Coast!
What this means: We’re expanding our free standard shipping offer to the West Coast on online orders totaling $149+ (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Carts can include raw frozen products, dry products, or a combination of both.*
Prior to this, we could only offer free shipping to states located in 1-3 day ground shipping zones.
Shipping policy specifics
We are relaunching free shipping (on orders $149+) to the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.
Additionally, all zip codes will now qualify for free shipping (on orders $149+) in the following states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Texas.
The bottom line: All states (and all zip codes) in the contiguous United States will qualify for free shipping on orders totaling $149 or more!
Exciting news for all customers
We are also proud to announce that all shipping costs incurred will be reduced by an average of 15% across all of the contingent U.S.!
All orders, from the East Coast to the West Coast and anywhere in between, are protected by Oma’s Promise powered by Route. Our Promise protects all packages from loss, theft, damage, or delays. Download the Route app and track your package today!
The history of this decision
For many years, we were proud to offer free shipping to the West Coast. However, challenging economic times through the pandemic and frequent shipping service interruptions resulting in delayed/spoiled packages made this offer untenable for us.
Adam DeJulius, 4th generation owner and operator, said, “As a small, family-owned business, we had to pivot to continue operating even in turbulent times. Although we stopped shipping to the West Coast temporarily, we never stopped looking for ways to relaunch this service.”
That’s why, after months and years of searching for solutions, Oma’s Pride is thrilled to announce that we’ve found the right partner on the West Coast to make free shipping (with orders of $149 or over) available once again.
Adam said, “We’re a bootstrapped family business in Connecticut with origins as a small poultry farm. With a legacy 70 years in the making, we don’t make promises we can’t keep. Our commitment to once again making Oma’s available to as many Americans as possible has been a top priority for me personally and the company, so we couldn’t be more energized by this relaunch.”
The future of Oma's Pride
Looking forward, Oma’s Pride is back on the West Coast and better than ever.
Not only is free shipping available at omaspride.com, but our products can be found in independent retail stores across the Pacific Northwest, down the West Coast, and throughout the Midwest. Check out our store locator to find a location near you, or ask your local retail to bring Oma’s Pride in!
This expansion marks a crucial step forward in our business to keep 70 years of tradition thriving. As a company, we’ll never take shortcuts on the path to growth. When we expand, we do so in the right way, by keeping our promises to our customers with premium quality products.
Thank you for your continued support of Oma’s Pride. Without you, none of this would be possible. Together, we believe that the key to health begins in their bowl & that they are so worth it.
